EPISODE ONE: “Intro”
The American Old West (often referred to as the Old West, Wild West or Far West) comprises the history, geography, people, lore, and cultural expression of life in the Western United States, most often referring to the period of the later half of the 19th Century, between theAmerican Civil War and the end of the century. After the 18th Century and the push beyond the Appalachian Mountains, the term is generally applied to anywhere west of the Mississippi River in earlier periods and westward from the Frontier Strip toward the later part of the 19th century. More broadly, the period stretches from the late 19th Century to the end of the Mexican Revolution in 1920.
So, What the fukk does this all mean?
It means that, These were crazy fukken times. Days of sweaty balls and gingivitis. But most importantly, Days of INFANTRYMEAT. The “Meaty-est Gun in The West”
That sounded gay didn’t it? Oh well, Don’t kill the messenger. I’m just telling it how it happened.
Through treaties with foreign nations and native peoples(and by “treaties with natives” I mean:”KILLING and Stealing their land”), political compromise, technological innovation,( like the dildo), military conquest, establishment of law and order, and the great migrations of foreigners(Wetbacks), the United States expanded from coast to coast (Atlantic Ocean to Pacific Ocean), fulfilling its belief in Manifest Destiny.
In securing and managing the West, the U.S. federal government greatly expanded its powers, as the nation evolved from an agrarian society to an industrialized nation. First promoting settlement and exploitation of the land, by the end of the 19th century the federal government became a steward of the remaining open spaces. As the American Old West passed into history, the myths of the West took firm hold in the imagination of Americans and foreigners alike.

My Grandfather passed away the day before yesterday at 3:30 in the morning. The whole family was by his bed-side. When I say: “The whole family” I mean…. Myself.
Growing up, I never really understood why it was just the 2 of us. I caught him in a few lies, as a child, about how grandma had died, and where my parents were.
It seemed the years were slowly stealing away his memories, and, he began to write things down. There was something really important that I was destined to know someday.
That day was today.
Before he passed away, he began to tell me a story so incredible, that only the approaching death could inspire. It was as if he was releasing a demon, and now, he could Rest in Peace.
I began to put together the pieces to this puzzle.
I haven’t slept in 2 days.
My granfather’s name was MARK MEATTS. Yes, as in “Meat Baron Mark” owner of the largest group of Meat Markets- Butcher Shops in the world.
You know who he left the weath to in his will?.. To himself.
(But I’ll get to that shit later)
He was born May 13, 1940 and Died: June 19, 2010. He was 70 years old.
Before he died, he told me about the Old West.
He said, It all started when a man named CAPTBROWNFINGER arrived at BLACKWATER in the summer of 1899. He was only 19 and already a Captain.
He arrived empty handed and broke, but, it didn’t take long before He was a well known and hated individual.
