I don’t know what’s wrong with movie stars. They get a good role when they’re hungry, and then turn around an become prima donnas… The black guy from Iron-Man was actually making more money than Robert Downey jr and then for part 2 thought he was getting the same deal and got replaced by Don Cheadle.
Now, Toby Maguire’s bitchass thought he was too valuable for the new Spider-Man so they replaced his ass.
To be honest, i think tv sucks nowadays. nothing new. reality show after reality show. talk shows discussing the same crap over and over. how many single mothers looking for the real daddy are there? lol
Curb your enthusiasm and 24 are two shows i enjoy. the rest i could do without. if there are any shows you enjoy i would love to hear it. unless its friends , then i will hate you too!
I was really looking forward to watching this movie because I thought that District 9 was directed and produced by the almighty Peter Jackson who successfully told the story of the Lord of the Rings on films.
So I was psyched and excited. After watching the movie, I was not at all disappointed of course, but I was very impressed with how realistic everything looks, so i asked myself .. “hey..good old Mr. Jackson has done it again, this time he didn’t just make it look believable, he even put in some welcoming twisted humor, but who is this writer?” Obviously, I had to find out more…
Neill Blomkamp is the South African-born, Vancouver, BC-based director/writer of District 9. Not Peter Jackson (producer in this case). Who the hell is Blomkamp? Has he done anything before? Turns out, a couple years ago, Neill Blomkamp was Peter Jackson’s choice to direct the Halo movie (back before the project fell apart). A lot of people felt that he was unproven since he had never directed a feature film before, but he had been chosen based on the strength of his short film Alive in Joburg, among other things. Now Peter Jackson has decided to put a decent budget behind Blomkamp in order to allow him to expand that short into a full movie, its now called District 9.
